PathFinder 350S Sorter

The PathFinder 350S Sorter is an benchtop workstation that registers and sorts specimen tubes into sample racks.

Incoming specimen tubes are loaded onto the system via an input sample rack and each tube is sequentially moved to a read station where its bar code identity is recorded.

After relaying this information to the LIS, the specimen tube is sorted into one of several destination or output racks.

Based on the priorities set up in the LIS, specimens always arrive at their correct destination. The PathFinder 350S Sorter can be used to automate any workflow task in the laboratory where a decision needs to be made regarding the routing of a tube for testing or storage.

Tubes can be presented multiple times and each time they will be rerouted to the next highest test priority or if complete, to a storage rack.
